If you’ve never used a USB type GPS before you might be a little intimidated by the setup required to get the unit working with whatever program your using but the manual is pretty clear and the main thing you need to do is go into the Windows Dev ice Manager and set the port settings to whatever your program requires. Once the NDS is up dongel running, there seem to be far fewer dropouts in built-up areas or on cloudy days etc In conclusion I’d have to say this thing deserves top marks. It’s good to see sellers are valuing customer satisfaction. If you’re a Linux or Windows user, the NDs is definitely a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a trouble free, easy to use GPS solution. For some reason probably Windows it seems to default to baud instead of the that most programs seem gp like.
Installation was straight forward. A well priced, easy to use, quality product. Worth the money Good product. This GPS receiver is a compact device, which gets easily plugged into your laptop. The only tricky thing you might find is that there is no really easy way of determining what port number has been assigned to the GPS unit which might make it a little frustrating for non tech-savvy users.
No biggie as this is odngle only thing you will probably need to change. The quality of manufacture is superb.
